Revisions and Updates

When I set up this web site it was just before I finished the text and photography for Modeling Autumn Scenery - and the goal was a web page where people could reliably and safely order a book, we could track the orders on our end and be able to see who ordered books, where to send them!

I looked around at a number of possibilities and settled on Wix. Of course some people immediately told me all the reasons I shouldn't use Wix, or (fill in some other name here) but I managed to get it set up, and functioning in a minimal amount of time with the minimal amount of fuss.

But while we're anxiously awaiting Bernie's Modeling Civil War Railroads manuscript, I managed to take a few minutes to restructure the web site a little bit. At the same time I've added some additional products that you might find of interest - namely the laser cut sumac described in the Autumn Scenery book as well as (surprise!) more Central Vermont boxcar lettering decals.

We've even set up something called the "SNE Store" where you can currently find Southern New England freight car decals, but might someday find links to legit SNE "merch."

In the meantime we'll keep the lights and sing the company song every morning through the slow summer season - model railroad sales really do slow to a trickle in the summer!
